Is Media Confused???

Dear Viewers,

Sometime back the media reported based on input from the investigation agencies that SpeakAsia surveys are fake and they are being made in Mumbai. Below is extract from article of a leading newspaper, DNA India, published on 1st Oct 2011.

"The finding is based on an arrested web designer’s confession. According to EOW sources, Nayan Khandor, the director of Brand Saloon Inc in Dadar (W) and a web designer, met SpeakAsia CEO Manoj Sharma in February 2010. He was given the task of creating e-surveys and e-magazines for the firm.

“He told us that initially, he was paid Rs 10,000 a month.But his last cheque was for Rs 1.50 lakh. This means that he had increased his survey rates after SpeakAsia became popular and more people started investing in it,” said an EOW official on the condition of anonymity."

Now, today on 27th Feb 2012, another leading news paper Times of India has published another report, which says

"A source said Seven Rings entered into an agreement with SpeakAsia Pte ( Singapore) and Haren Ventures Pvt Ltd. "Seven Rings offered to act as a publisher for SpeakAsia surveys but on the condition that they get 60% profit while SpeakAsia got 40%. Seven Rings said it had a wider reach and the agreement would be beneficial to SpeakAsia. They promised to publish an electronic magazine (e-zine) too," said the source.

If Mr. Khandoor admitted that the surveys were made by him, after 5 months the same sources are telling that the surveys were taken care by Seven Rings International?? Is media confused?? Friends, this shows that Speakasia is being framed falsely and the investigations against the company has not proven anything till date. Media is helping only in negative way.

Company has deposited $10 million (about Rs.50 crores) in the supreme court registry and they are not going anywhere but forward. Lets be united!!

As is the stated position of the company, SAOL will extend all the support required in executing this directive of the honourable Supreme Court and will actively work towards re-starting its suspended operations at earliest opportune moment.

This morning brought one of the greatest news of this year. Today in Supreme Court the SAOL management got its clear victory. The honorable Supreme Court has passed an order which is clear and exactly in the favor of the Company.

Following are some extract of the order of the honorable supreme court:

1. SAOL has been ordered to deposit Rupees 50 crores with the Supreme Court.

2. Central Board Of Direct Taxes (Income Tax Authority) has been asked to give the details of their dues from the Speak Aisa.

3. Economic Offence Wing(Mumbai Police) has been ordered to handover the admin rights of the website along with all other material to the Hon’ble Mr. Justice R. C. Lahoti.

  SAOL will deposit the total amount with Supreme court and panelists will be paid their dues through the channels monitored by supreme court.

The company was more than willing to pay and even offered that they can pay these amounts from Singapore bank directly, but the court did not agree and asked them to submit in India, on which the company readily agreed.

We always talked about company's intention and this is a victory of that intention. Things are moving in the direction which company always wanted to and the hearings now are result oriented.

SpeakAsia website not working

Dear viewers,

As you all know that the company's official website www.speakasiaonline.com is not getting opened. There is nothing to be worried about because as per our conversation with the officials of SAOL they have given the following explanation:

The reason behind this is, Company has purchased domain name www.speakasiaonline.com from www.godaddy.com. www.speakasiaonline.com domain name has been suspended due to invalid Whois(like Know Your Customer KYC norms followed by Banks) information. According to GoDaddy terms and conditions at least once in a year domain owner has to verify or update whois information, i.e; Company Name, Address, Contact No. , other details etc.

As per the company officials SpeakAsiaOnline Management will contact GoDaddy to rectify this problem. This issue is temporary and is not going to hamper the overall fight by the SAOL and its 20 Lakh strong Speak Asian community.
